My name is Curtis Green. I grew up near Brookings, SD. I moved to Colorado in 1999 and spent 21 years there before moving back to my home state in 2020, finally settling in Hill City. My admiration and love for craftsmanship and the traditional way led me to barbering, a craft I’d admired for a long time. After graduating from the South Dakota Barber College in November of 2021, I partnered with a local shop owner where I worked to build a clientele and continued to hone my skills. Now, as the owner of The Plainsman, I look forward to providing quality hair cuts and shaves while creating an atmosphere where men can gather for camaraderie and connection. I strive to honor the tradition of barbering, masculinity, and community in Hill City.
